"One of our favorite new artists is the incredibly talented Brad Walsh, whose music has the pulsing vitality that Madonna's early work possessed" and "Brad Walsh is one of our favorite electro rockers. This unsigned artist is totally tearing up the music scene in New York, and we are proud to say that we were one of the first to feature his music."
"Like a gay electropop Justin Timberlake that would've made him a Larry Tee protege if he came to NYC circa Berliniamsburg. He's uniquely delightful and a sexy performer that made me squeal 'til i couldn't get a voice out. He, on the other hand, had a spot on voice." –SARAH “ULTRAGRRRL” LEWITINN
"'Do It in the Street' sounds pretty
fantastically dirty. I didn’t know you could make those kinds of sounds in
electronic music without molesting the speakers."
"That IT everyone talks about... he's the source."
"We were beyond excited to see Brad in the flesh. By the time his back-up singers took the stage ... there was already a roaring cheer of 'I LOVE BRAD WALSH!' "
"I enjoy Brad's music, especially 'Available.' It's nice to hear someone write about something!" |
"A great mixture of electronica and pop. Reminiscent of the 80s while staying fresh and new ... In short, Loves it!" –TRENT VANEGAS of PINK IS THE NEW BLOG
"As remixed by Brooklyn electro It boy Brad
Walsh, [Ashlee Simpson's] 'Outta My Head' is a pumping
club-hit-in-the-making."
"Song to get dressed to start the night: 'Do It in the Street' by Brad Walsh." –THE MISSHAPES in OK! MAGAZINE
On "Control Me," the song for his Project Runway finale show at Bryant Park: "The music was so amazing, which contribute[d] to a fantastic show!"
"All the tracks sound great! I think it's genius, and I'm not saying that as some kind of empty compliment. Brad really has a knack for phrasing beautiful melodies, and the production is very cool." –POE
“Completely raw, unedited thoughts put to music. Beautifully gross, I love his songs."

Almost everything you hear on a track by Brad Walsh is written, performed, produced, recorded, and otherwise smacked together by himself, with the occasional guest vocalist or instrumentalist. His electro-rock cover of Stacey Q’s 1986 pop hit "Two of Hearts" – regarded as "just as fun as the original" by Voltage – was a 2006 setlist favorite for New York DJ trio The Misshapes, whose highly acclaimed weekly party hosted Brad's first live performance in New York City at legendary club Don Hill's. Brad self-released two albums, LOOK AT ME in 2004 and PRIOR TO in 2006, and remix/remaster EP BONES WITH NEW SKINS in May 2007. He is currently working on his third full-length and an array of remixes of other artists for release. His song "Control Me" appeared on the 2007-2008 fourth season of Bravo show Project Runway.
