Singer/songwriter and producer Brad Walsh is "one of our favorite new artists" (Perez Hilton), "a chameleon extraordinaire who has his finger tight on the pulse of what's hot" (Arjan Writes), and "this generation's Depeche and New Order" (DJ Josh Madden). In 2009 Brad released his album Human Nature, and in 2010 RCA/Jive released his remixes of Adam Lambert's debut singles "For Your Entertainment" (which currently opens Lambert's GlamNation tour and appears on an E! network commercial) and "Whataya Want From Me" on Lambert's Remixes EP, which went to #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Singles chart. Sony/Arista released Brad's remix of Sarah McLachlan's "Loving You Is Easy." Prior to that, Brad's remixes of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kanye West, and Rihanna achieved over 7 million digital downloads. His original music is featured on Showtime's new series The Real L Word. Brad also composes and produces the runway music for each of boyfriend Christian Siriano's fashion shows at New York fashion week - from Project Runway to last year's collaborations with Stellastarr and Junior Sanchez feat. Benji Madden - as well as the soundtrack for his runway presentation on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
Brad was labeled one of the "hottest DJs" by CosmoGirl and likened to a "modern-day St. Patrick" by the the Village Voice, with enough influence to "single-handedly drive the scenesters south." But not satisfied simply to make music, Brad's photography hobby has led to more attention. Brad's photographs have most notably appeared in Time, Women's Wear Daily, Nylon, Blackbook, Time Out, Teen Vogue, and Spin, among many others; and in promotion or advertisement for TreSemme, Payless ShoeSource, Victoria's Secret, Gibson Guitars, Send the Trend, and J Shoes. Several of his portraits were purchased by GenArt to travel the country as a gallery tour called "Capture the Night," a promotional partnership with Acura. Brad's photographs fill and cover Christian Siriano's book Fierce Style (Hachette Book Group, 2009), and he will publish a portrait compilation later this year.
This year Brad added "designer" to his resume with a jewelry line, with pieces worn by Mena Suvari, Amber Rose, Barbara Walters, Adam Lambert, Kat DeLuna, Christian Siriano, Whoopi Goldberg, Sia, Adrienne Bailon, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd, Shontelle, and many more. His designs have appeared in print and on the web, everywhere from Vogue Italia to Modelinia and CocoPerez. He has also served as a judge for fashion shows and events (and even a few beauty pageants) around the country, and appears in the Bravo special Christian Siriano: Having A Moment.
On June 15, 2010 Brad released a remix album titled Unhitched, Restitched. His songs have been remixed by some of the best dance producers and talented newcomers alike. Full track list and cover art available here.
