2009: A Face Odyssey
Last night Christian and I had some of our friends over to ring in the new year, and what we thought would be sort of low key turned into tons of friends and a great time! I made pigs in a blanket and bacon-wrapped pear slices cooked in barbecue sauce… everyone had their respective fatty moment. We had cocktails and punch thanks to Three Olives — who sent us all of their flavors of vodka including everything from the usual fruit flavors to root beer and espresso — and at midnight we broke out the case of champagne!
It was so great to see everyone, and especially wonderful for old lazy-ass me, who, at the end of the night, was already home! I think we may have to do this New Year’s party again next year. Click through to see lots of photos of everyone!

I’m really sad about not going. The wedding I was at lasted longer than expected and by the time I got out, everyone told me I was too late. This upsets me to no end. I think you need to do another one this weekend so I can get the experience.

victorya is lots of fun, and she’s incredibly nice and thoughtful… a great person in general. i say she was the biggest victim of contrived reality portrayal on her season.

After reading your previous posts re: Victorya, I figured as such. I feel so sorry for her :-/
Anyway: if you were AT ALL a fan of the aforementioned espresso vodka, go to the Middleton Tavern next time you’re in Annapolis. Went there with friends New Year’s Day and had their espresso martini. Sweet lord it was awesome.
