Brad, Interrupted

Ryder Ripps makes music and designs and loud noises when getting into character for photo shoots. He’s a friend of a friend, and we were all set to do a little shoot when another friend’s insides exploded, and she had to go to the hospital. We eventually got to do our shoot, and I am very happy with some of the shots:

He had five or six pairs of sunglasses and as many watches (he’s a collector). We have the same watch, in fact: an oversized jeweled four-number ticker with Obama as the face, so that when people ask “what time is it” we can say “time for change!” I got mine at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore when we visited a few weeks ago.

Tonight I am shirking my headache to photograph Shannen Doherty for something fun that I will detail more at a later date, and then Christian and I are going to Heidi Klum’s Halloween party! I’m determined to have fun, even if it takes a bottle of aspirin chased with a bottle of vodka to make it happen. Unhealthy lifestyle jokes are fun!
