Happy Wednesday

I really love Thomas Doyle’s stuff. It’s not often you see something on the internet and say “wow” out loud.

Christian and I have different priorities when it comes to celebrity spotting. He regales me with descriptions of his conversations with Rumer Willis and Paris Hilton, but when I’m impressed by the (omni)presence of Nick Zinner at the table next to us at Red Bamboo, he doesn’t even really remember who the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are. I say “we just passed Diplo and Santogold” and he says “who?” Then I sing “L.E.S. Artistes” and he smiles and lets me try. When we watch The Ten, I’m excited to see Jason Sudeikis and he’s impressed that they got Jessica Alba. I wish that there had been a one-second Dianne Wiest cameo.

We wandered into a dingy pharmacy on Bedford that looks like a 1992 Rite Aid and I found a bag of Tootsie Pops that may also be from 1992, but they sure are good.

Holy shit, The Ten is one of my favorite movies. Seems like no one has seen it though. Highfive.
