Fresh Prints of Cold Air

Last night Christian and Lisa and I went to Nigel Barker’s photo and film opening for A Sealed Fate. Josh was the star DJ, turning a 900 year old plastic fishfaced lady on to MGMT. It was very crowded, but that was great because so many people got to see and hear the message. The project was about exposing the killing of hundreds of thousands seals each year, especially practical infants, for pelts. The photographs were amazing, I don’t know why I was so stunned by what a great photographer he is. That’s what he does, after all. But I was really impressed, and we were all shocked and moved by his speech. Go to ProtectSeals.org to learn more about it all.

As a party, it was pretty fun, too. Christian introduced me to Jaslene, who’s so nice despite the fact that she is basically an Earth-walking deity who could be a total bitch to everybody and get away with it. Some other Top Models and a Real Housewife were there. And Tatyana Ali was, for some reason, standing in the corner looking gorgeous.
