was just looking at old photos

lots of people say high school and college are the “best years of your life.” before and during those times, for me, that’s all my extended family ever said to me. “enjoy it now because you’ll always wish you could go back to these years.” “you’re going to love college, it’s the best time you’ll ever have!” well. high school was awful and college was a shitshow. i was scared and depressed and awkward and ugly. the only thing i got out of high school was ray, and the only thing i got out of college was kathy.

right now are the best years of my life. i don’t depend on anyone for money, i live on my own and i do what i want, when i want. i get paid to be creative. i have amazing and beautiful friends and i’m in love and allowed to be in love. ages 14-21 were absolute bullshit and i am THRILLED that they’re over.

fuck high school, man! and college can eat it, too!

a-MEN! Thank god someone said those words!!! HATED HS with a passion and didn’t even want to deal with college thanks to the HS experience….

So far, I can’t beat being 21… Working on a MTV show, taking dance class with world famous choreographers, hanging out in LA basically every other day and having great friends too… Can’t go with that…

haha to the above (sorry!). I think history has proven over and over that those who have a bad high school and /or college, or even just young adult experience, due to feeling awkward and out of place are the ones that turn out to be the smartest, most creative and successful of them all.
