i am home alone. kathy went to visit her parents and is not watching lost with me. christian is sewing some bullshit and not eating chicken with me. evan is in boston and not watching jerri blank with me. jes is in vermont eating fingers with her mom and not eating fingers with me. anna is at her sister’s house and not smoking crack with me. geneva may still be flying back to new york or may have gotten home recently but nonetheless she is not sparkling me with her love face. i will go eat another chocolate covered oreo and watch lost under my blanket because it’s cold, and i am not hungry but i am BORED.

This Saturday (the 15th) is my Christmas party at my apartment. Kathy and I are cutting snowflakes all week. Our Halloween party had like 250 people and multiple corporate sponsors, which was a lot of fun but a bit more than we expected, so this time we’re going with a smaller invite list. Originally we said this party was only from 8pm til midnight (because Spencer is doing a similar thing that same night and I wanted to go to his after ours), but now his is the same time so I think we’re just going to give up trying to do everything and just make ours 8 til late (bolded for those of you who don’t actually read anything but the bold). All our friends (and their friends) are welcome. Still booze central, too. And a punch fountain! Ask me for the address if you don’t have it.
Got back from Miami yesterday at what felt like 4am but was really about 5pm. Sophia and I flew there and back together, and our flights were both annoying, the return being an absolute nightmare. I won’t even go into it, we just had to wait forever at every possible juncture. But I had a great time, even if we didn’t get to see much of the art at Art Basel. Most of my time was spent traveling and preparing for the night. Lots of great photos, I can’t wait for them to go up on the site. I was shooting for Misshapes.com, not for JunkMag, so I won’t be able to share them here or there until Geordon re-launches the site.
The hotel situations worked out pretty well; because we were all in different places I got to see lots of different stuff (I hadn’t been to Miami before this). Geordon and I were in the Royal Palm, but Leigh and Max and Sophia were in the Shore Club. So we ate there and one of the parties was by the pool. Alexis and Gordon were at the National by the end, and eating there was good too. Sean was in the Standard so we all got to do some late night swimming and too-hot jacuzzi time with Lawrence and Mandy and two horrible girls who were swimming in dresses. Rokbar was fun(ish) but my favorite was the roof of the Raleigh for the Swarovski party. It was unbelievably windy, but it felt good and people were really into the music. There was a crystal-strewn really good open bar that carried sugar free Red Bull. And Jonny took a little outdoor shower among rich ladies. Beautiful. Owen Wilson in a straw hat and wrists covered. Pharrell must have a miniscule penis.

i am getting a lot more remixing jobs so i’m going to sort of add some remixes in with my own music on myspace. like a sly fox! only i’m telling you this so i’m really more like an obvious idiot!
since i posted a quick sort of joke of a mix of ashlee simpson’s new single “outta my head” yesterday, perez emailed it to ashlee herself, ultragrrrl posted it, and a bunch of jersey gays wanted the mp3… so i figured i should actually work more on it if it’s going to go around the nets. today i fixed it up and finished it for real and the new and final version is up now.
the remix of “outta my head” is the top track on myspace now. play it, add it, do what you do. you can download it (and lots of other full original and remix mp3s) at bradwalsh.com now in the “music” section. for free. that is extraordinarily benevolent of me to do! glory to me in the highest!
